Not sure if anyone has posted this before but the NYPO have a great digital archive which is searchable by composer, performer or date - a facsimile of the printed programme is included:
Interesting to browse favourite composers to see if/when they were performed - Vaughan Williams Sixth was conducted in 1978 by Rafael Kubelik, while the Fifth was done in 1947 by Bruno Walter... was either released by the NYPO? Walter also conducted Elgar's First Symphony in 1925.
Barbirolli's return in April 1968 included A London Symphony - someone who attended has kindly written the timings inside the programme back cover so we can see how he compared to his recordings. I noted that the Angel (EMI) advert of his recordings on 'page C' included RVW's Sixth with The Lark Ascending played by Hugh Bean - obviously Sir Adrian Boult's recording!
