Does anyone have a link to appropriate sound files for the piece "May all your children be acrobats" by David Jaffe?
This was apparently the first example of a piece which exploited digital waveguide synthesis - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digita...uide_synthesis , which itself seems to have been developed following the use of Karplus-Srong synthesis which is able to produce sounds which are similar to those of plucked strings. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karplu...ring_synthesis
There may have been other early examples of such methods of sound synthesis, and perhaps some were found by experimentation, and others by mathematical and theoretical analysis.
I would like to hear the original, if possible.
