I would just add that the piece performed at the 1983 Almeida Festival which I remember making the greatest impact was his Reverse Polish Notation, which comprised multi-layered renditions of Chopin's Revolutionary Etude Op. 10 No. 12 both live and delayed and replayed via the Pianocorders on the two additional pianos. I really must search out the cassette recording I made at the time, with his cooperation. Bear in mind that this was the early 1980s and the technology he used was decidedly neonate. The final track on his Piano Plus CD, Solo for Three Pianos, gives some idea of how he used three pianos with the Marantz system. That piece can also be heard 25'40" (not the timing given on YouTube) into:
