Very moved by La Traviata

I watched this yesterday on Sky Arts 2 and found it very moving. It was the first opera that I had ever watched and now I want to watch more.

The opera was in Italian, but had English surtitles (which to be honest I'm not sure helped), but the language didn't matter. The emotion was so overwhelming it was amazing.

The Royal Opera House production with Renee Fleming I think . It is a great production and very well sung - I still can't quite get over her running around and dropping dead at the end .

La Traviata when well done is I think probably the most moving opera of all.

Yes, that's the one. I agree. Her death is so sudden.
