Very little on this list that corresponds to my best of the 21st Century. Based on CDs I own, I would offer (in no particular order):
1) Per Norgard - Symphonies 7 & 8
2) John Adams - The Dharma at Big Sur
3) Pascal Dusapin - Solos for Orchestra (some are 21st Century)
4) Kaija Saariaho - L'amour de loin
5) John Luther Adams - The Wind in High Places/Canticles of the Sky
6) Kalevi Aho - Symphonies 4 & 10
7) Peter Garland - The Birthday Party/Amulet

Listen to Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra in unlimited on Qobuz and buy the albums in Hi-Res 24-Bit for an unequalled sound quality. Subscription from £10.83/month
I'd probably go for French Orchestral music, especially Dusapin, Dalbavie, Murail, but I haven't got a list together yet....(apart from this stunner...

There is much to like on the above lists. I might also add Peter Sculthorpe's Requiem, which has a quiet beauty and which, like his better known masterpieces Earth Cry and Kakadu
seems to arise out of the earth of Australia and not so much composed as realised. He is, to my mind, the Australian Elgar, who heard the music in the air and just set it down.

A link to Earth Cry: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDMYcPhftFI

How any such list can be without CONSTRUCTION, defeats me.

Real drivel, downmarket presentation.
Your Youtube comment would have been very mlld if used to refer to that particular programme.
Wittering on, sound over music, some of which might have been OK - some less so. Who cares?
