Blackpool based entertainer Joe Longthorne MBE was buried yesterday. He lost his long battle with throat cancer. In respect of this popular entertainer many Blackpool streets were packed to see the funeral cortege winding its way through the town.
I loved his impressions of Shirley Bassey, Sinatra & the Rat Pack, Johnny Mathis, Andy Williams, Tom Jones etc.
