Listening to yle-klassinen this afternoon, I saw on the playlist Bread: symphony no. 3. A google search offers no clue as to who this Ms or Mr Bread might be. Has anyone heard of this composer?

A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Much of his music has been conducted by Sakari Oramo and it was he who was credited with conducting 'Bread's' symphony.

Given the competition in what is a pretty crowded field, I can only say I'm honoured!
There's a performance on YouTube, although when I tried to post a link I got the dreaded 'Video Unavailable' message - but then I've always been rubbish at links. Just google 'Baird 3rd symphony YouTube' and scroll down to 'Tadeusz Baird'.Last edited by LMcD; 23-06-19, 04:29.
