Not long heard an advert for this show, looks interesting:

Thanks Joseph. I'm probably being dim but is this a scheduled programme or only available through the website? I can't see a time anywhere.

In the clip about nails versus flesh, the Sor Study being played in the background by William Carter is Op.6 No.11, the "Mountains of Mourne" study I mentioned not long ago on that thread about traditional/folk tunes. A lovely CD by the way, Linn Records CDK 343.

Guitarist/lutenist/teacher Rob MacKillop talks a lot about playing without nails over on the classical guitar forum - https://www.classicalguitardelcamp.c...p?f=1&t=127921 - there's a link to his website in the second post on this thread, and a nice meme of a cat filing its nails.

I looked on 'upcoming episodes' - they're broadcast on sunday, 23:00.

I've given up classical guitar now (see 'What are you composing/practising' thread) but I had got round to buying some particular nail files that had been recommended to me. I think, or thought it was best that the string make contact with both nail and flesh.
