    No, it's Aladdin. <boomboom>

The illustrator (the contents had lots of pictures, too) was probably named somewhere in the booklet, but that isn't shown anywhere I can find online, alas.

Does anyone else remember singing the Daniel Jazz and the Jonah-Man Jazz? They must have had something because once I think of them now they still go round in my head for ages

Or was it the effective rote-learning methods employed back in the 60s/70s, such as whacks on the head with a thick hymn-book?

(Pabs: what effect did these pieces have on you as a fellow sufferer at PSS Winchester??)
I keep hitting the Escape key, but I'm still here!

        Hark, hark, the lark!
Sung (unison, I guess) at one of our school speech days, held in Philharmonic Hall, Liverpool.
        I accompanied on the organ!
I remember cheekily (in the performance, not the rehearsal) using a bassoon stop for one of the 'cuckoos'; the music master was not sure whether to tick me off or smile too! The ripple of laughter from the audience let me off the hook!
