I remember a newspaper advertisement for one of Raymond Gubbay's RAH extravaganzas, which said that the concert featured Beethoven's 'climatic' Ode to Joy.

Or maybe you were subconsciously availing yourself of the all-too-rare Two for a Tenor offer

What a great pairing. Well worth a £10 punt.

I saw that Rightbof Spring as well- the Petrushka is definitely better.

Boilk: a bit more work needed in Photoshop I'm afraid! According to their series leaflet, their Mahler 1 doesn't show the nickname but you could do us an M2 'Insurrection' I suppose.

Your Mussorgsky Exhibitionist is close but needs to be in dark blue colours, as does the Tighten if you persist with it.

9/10 for effort and initiative, but more attention to detail (3/10) required

I'm still hoping HMV will do us a useful Mahler/ Wagner coupling: Das Lied von der Erda.
I keep hitting the Escape key, but I'm still here!

Thanks Barbs, corroboration at last, in case Boilk's Photoshops had sown doubts!

I'm not using Photoshop - Microsoft PowerPoint does the basics well enough!

I haven't actually investigated what repertoire is on this label -- was just plucking mostly homophones (actually heterographs) off the top of my head.
I hadn't pondered M2 'Insurrection', but did think of substituting Inexcusable for Inextinguishable (Nielsen No.4).

My friend Alma Cullen, writer of some ‘Morse’ scripts, always called it ‘The Inexcusable’ to the extent that I tend to forget its real title.

The wrong has been righted on the two copies in HMV York this morning (so they are, rightly, The Rite of Spring). Sadly, the shop is closing down, having survived the first round of cuts.

A friend claims to have seen "The Dairy Of One Who Disappeared" but I have no proof yet!

One I liked years ago wasn't a disc but a store's shelf divider card saying "AVRO PART". Was tempted to ask for a tail turret for a Lancaster bomber
