I'm particularly interested in La, for a reason involving DSCH's 5th symphony!

It seems that a transliteration of the Russian might be along the lines of -

If you were wondering, I was checking out something I didn't fully catch in a talk, about repeated As in DSCH's 5th symphony being a link to his relationship in 1934-5 with one Elena Konstantinovskaya, subsequently Elena Karmen. The lya (A in C major)) links to 'Elena' while Karmen explains a number of overt and covert links of the symphony to that opera. Elisabeth Wilson's Shostakovich - A Life Remembered pp153-4 explains the Carmen links, but not the lya/A one.

And yes, I know the symphony isn't in C
