BBC Classical Music Archive app launch

According to today's Sunday Times the BBC is to launch an app giving access to its vast library of classical music recordings . It's a very brief news story - just wondered if anyone knew more about it ? It sounds mouthwatering - particularly if lossless downloads / streams were to be made available.
