    Many thanks LmD.

Great ideas and both are in.

The Obernkirchen Children's Choir had an exceptional and little known influence on British music culture.

John Peel was dragged by his mother to see them live after which the rebellion began.

Having said as much, it was a hit in 1954. While many would argue that the chart commenced in 1952, for many of us it really began in 1955.

Armin Van Buuren - This Is What It Feels Like (got to #6 in 2013).

One of my favourite trance/electro DJs. The downside is he's from Holland .....

If so then should include any band with a qualifying member. 4/5 of the original Manfred Mann were Brits, and 3/5 of the 2nd incarnation were, with Klaus Voorman being German

Careful Beefy you’ll invade his privacy.

Freddie Mercury was born in Zanzibar - how many Queen and Freddie solo hits were there?

Fair point of course, but since the band carried his name, it seems only fair to let him in.

Seeing the Blues Band this weekend at Wickham.

No doubt, I have just been adding 1 per "new" act.

Sinead O'Connor hasn't made it in yet.

Yes, this is one of the best pop songs of the 1980s:

                          This is obviously Eurovision:

Enjoy - really good - Dave Kelly’s guitar playing, particularly in slow blues numbers is brilliant.

Il Silenzio - Nini Rosso - Italy

Staggeringly a top 40 hit in the Summer of Love 1967. I remember Kenny Everett on pirate Radio London always referring to "the fab 39 and Il Silenzio" while it remained in the charts.
