What is slightly sticking in my throat is that PP's own choir is getting ....ahem.....rather a lot of plays.
Bet he's trying to keep a straight face.
And how many choirs did we have similar to the mix of trebles etc which Lassus, Victoria etc would have heard in their head as they wrote and would thus expect to be singing the pieces?Last edited by DracoM; 18-06-18, 21:19.

what struck me from occasional listening is that the Tallis Scholars didn't get much of a look-in: from what I heard, I was impressed by PP's even-handedness in featuring other choirs.
Totally non-scientific reaction of course - might be interesting to go through the playlists and tot up the score for Tallis Scholars v. The Rest...Don’t cry for me
