I suspect that there is a fair degree of non determinacy in that process.
Different processes could give different sounds from the same image, while different images could give the same sound with different processes.

Anyway, something to mull over.

Try 13minutes in, rather than Dave's suggested 14 - there's an Artwork by a six-year-old which is also the basis of a Musical performance. (Children more open to different possibilities of what can be used to suggest Musical ideas to performers than many of their elders.)
