Gosh, I'm not even sure I have one! I'm going to have to give this some thought...

The only way to reply to this wicked question (or effect a bit of cheating ) must be: without thinking...

The first thing to jump into my head was: Suk: Asrael Symphony.
But with a quick think it was: Martinu Symphony No.4.

Point that virtual choice-gun at me and it would be: Martinu 4.

But when you're thinking about not thinking, you're thinking! It's a well known Zen conundrum.

                  For sheer joy, Schumann 1.

( Pity poor Alpie, as the song goes......)

But as JLW suggests, on another day , there is nothing like Asrael.......

                      We all make mistakes.

I'm still looking for my Holy Grail M2. Boulez comes closest, but I still love Rattle's.

When I saw the thread title, Asrael was just there in my head....I don't think I was thinking, not even about nothing or its close relative not-thinking...
How far do you want to take this...?

No worry, Jayne: it's probably not a discussion for this particular forum!
