    Polyrhythms - Edward Chilvers

In the Sunday Morning broadcast on 24th September, Jonathan Swain enthused about "polyrhythms", played on the piano and composed by Edward Chilvers, who seems to think that the technique is a way forward for classical music.
I was intrigued by the sounds he made. I know nothing of the technicalities. Can anyone tell me anything about this strand of music and it's context or history?

The term "polyrhythms" just means rhythms superimposed.

Many thanks for that Evan audio/video. The acoustic of the church fully explored, too. Wish I'd been there.
