I have not followed this closely but it seems somewhat unlikely that the performance fully follows the score as displayed. Mahler made several revisions to the work in its early years, even before it was performed. The original, for instance, has 6 harps and boy vocal soloists. The only recording (Nagano's) which aimed to represent that initial version seems to have been withdrawn from the catalogue. Fortunately, I have it (but it's temporarily mislaid, somewhere around the house).
