And the EUYO and CoE waiting to see how things will turn out …
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

I don't thing it says explicitly in the article, but presumably they are concerned that their EU funding would be at risk in 2 years time, or whenever?
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

Isn't it just that it would be strange to have EU orchestras based outside the EU - especially given the likely problems with freedom of movement?

          indeed it would be odd.

I'd say the uncertainties or possible problems, but that could be seen as quibbling.

Why not mention the funding though? it is surely relevant? perhaps the UK government could help in some way. It isn't much money, after all.

Perhaps because that wasn't the main issue?

In order to keep the EU orchestras in the UK?

well they didn't SAY it was the main issue.......but , you know......

It wouldn't have to BE just an EU orchestra. Things change. Wishful thinking, I suppose.

Another step towards "Das Land Ohne Musik" - Oscar Adolf Hermann Schmitz - but who cares anyway?

They are unlikely to fund EU projects in the way the Norwegians do
Like much of this ridiculous nonsense it's not all about the money ("money money")
