        Thanks for correcting - I was, à propos, going to say I hadn't realised he was a co-founder of the Budapest Festival Orchestra but hesitated at your mention of Ádám as being less à propos. A great shock - possibly there was not much publicity about his long illness. Some years ago I borrowed from the library his recording of the little Bartók piece I was practising, and was grateful to be taught by him what it was supposed to sound like.

        It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
