    Mr Bear

Just bought a second hand Martinu chamber music Cd dated 1982.
Recording engineer is said to be Mr Bear.
Anyone know who / what Mr Bear is / was?

Much involved in EMI & CfP releases in the mid-late '70s, too.

              ...or porridge being too hot.

A good example of his work for CFP is the 1982 release of Elgar 2 with LPO / Vernon Handley in Watford Town Hall. This porridge was just right.

I remember being intrigued by this name, too, when I saw it on the cassette of a Satie recital I used to own -- by, I think, Peter Katin.

Peter Lawson - on CfP? A very fine disc indeed, if so.

Looks like we've become the Alphabet Associations thread by accident here!
