Jacqueline Du Pre's last London Performance at the RFH?

Can anyone confirm the date of her last appearance in the RFH? I went to an afternoon performance on Sunday 11th February 1973 with Mehta conducting the NPO. Elgar 'cello in the first half and Bruckner 9 to conclude.

I too was at that concert but no longer have the programme. Elizabeth Wilson's biography will have the information if you can get hold of a copy. A quick google found this but it doesn't have the exact date. I'm pretty sure that was her last appearance in the RFH.

I saw her on one other occasion, playing Beethoven trios with Barenboim and Zuckerman in Oxford Town Hall in 1968 or 9.

Thank you for confirming that, Richard. I recall a very moving performance of the Elgar which is the work I saw her perform on the only other occasion I saw her. That was at the Birmingham Triennial Festival in 1968 with Barenboim conducting the NPO.
