Wonder if CBH had prefaced her statement with " arguably " whether it would have been more acceptable to those taking such umbrage .
I certainly regard it as less informed than utter bilge such as this from Heffer
Three years after Sammons, Yehudi Menuhin made his famous recording of it, conducted by Elgar himself. That version is suitable for those engaging in an act of casual tourism through Elgar .
