As one who has started to tinkle much more of late (I battled through a couple of Shostakovich Preludes and half a Fugue yesterday! ), feeling the fingers coming back to it and looking forward to doing much more in the very near future, I wish you all joy of it !

Ah yes - the "Edward II School of Piano Tuning" ...

Closed down soon after, I understand.

    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

A dummy keyboard with sound - what was the note it was tuned to?

I was quite enjoying it, until that android logo gave the rude and uncalled-for "salute" at the end.

I have found that not all piano technicians (it isn't only the tuning that counts) are created equal and when you find the one who is right for your joanna, don't let him go - oddly I've never come across a female piano technician.

I know, it's like that film that was circulating a while ago with an orchestra assembling one at a time, then turns out to be another bl**dy advert :sad face:

...or bastardising a tune you've loved for years.

Oddly enough, I did know one once and her name actually was Joanna (and no, she didn't make it up, any more than Ms MacGregor has).
