    By a coincidence, that aria was one of my first introductions to WAM - on a 10" LP of operatic arias sung by Richard Tauber.

    WAM 260 years old today.
    It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

                    I cannot imagine how awful it would be not to love Mozart . If I had to choose only one composer's music it would be his or Beethoven's - I cannot split them .
