    Works that might have been

Anyone fancy Theodor Adorno's opera Huckleberry Finn?!?

Came across it on Alex Ross's "The Rest is Noise" website (when googling 'vinteuil')
"A student of Alban Berg, Adorno had produced a small group of works in a largely atonal idiom, but by the forties he had given up composition, never finishing his projected magnum opus, an opera based on Huckleberry Finn. "

Similar surreal arcana will I'm sure be gratefully received!
I keep hitting the Escape key, but I'm still here!

That is just fascinating! If only AH had stuck to painting and composing and left politics well alone ...
