Best singing I've heard for a long time....

Watching this again, I was struck by many things:

the singing in the abbey at the start was a little disappointing;
the de-Americanisation of the text was welcome, if a little unauthentic (But I've never been HIPP obsessed ) ;
enunciation was good throughout;
it seemed to be a hybrid version of the stage and film versions (mainly the former).

Watched the first 40minutes, but then gave up. If I had been in the theatre, I might be more accepting of it. But to me the S o Music in Cinema or TV is is the original film and its actresses/actors.
