It's just that I thought that CB had taken to doing her own research into Baroque music, and had produced some operatic works from those researches. I thought that that was a feather in her cap, so I would not think it odd if she did indeed go back a bit further. I'll buy the CD anyway because I like her singing, and I like Christmas. One of my favourite band pieces, brass/concert band, is Christmas Festival by Leroy Anderson. Such a wonderful way with well known seasonal pieces. A great selection. I had the Dallas Wind Symphony play this yesterday.Don’t cry for me

Thank you Padraig - fascinating to hear her doing that. A long way from the austere sounds of the Hilliards in the same repertoire, but beautiful all the same.
