I could just about persuade myself of some A minor vestiges, but only by playing the melody fairly loud and the rest very soft (and by being primed in advance to expect A minor)! How often the ear "looks" for tonality when it isn't really there (or just implied) is an interesting point, possibly. Or perhaps "tonal centres".

Not that we capricorns need reminding, I suppose.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

Probably the, er, key-note clue in that article is where the author refers to the Rite of Spring and Bartok's Concerto for Orchestra as part of his argument.
And what's all this about raised and lowered intervals in the key of A minor? Unless this is a misquote, the one characteristic of diatonic scales is their consistency in intervallic distribution. I can't see anything else in it that makes any sense.
