In case anyone may be interested David Hansell has prepared a score and parts, from the autograph manuscript, of George Malcolm's brilliant pastiche "Variations on a Theme of Mozart" for four harpsichords (or pianos) which he wrote for Thom Goff's annual jubilee at the RFH. David, and the copyright holder Christopher Hirons, have generously made this material freely available for download and performance (on my website www.georgemalcolm.co.uk). With George's birth centenary coming up in 2017 it is hoped that we may get a performance or two, though the logistics of getting four harpsichords together are perhaps somewhat daunting! David Hansell is hopeing to get a "period" performance arranged, though the additional problem of getting four Goff harpsichords together might be one mountain too many!
