    it was - but a very worrying implication for 'classical' music - one throw away answer to a question was that what we hear from the womb to about 12yrs of age (with the latter period probably the most important) fixes what we regard as our favourite and easily remembered music for life - maybe western classical music will soon be only popular in middle class Chinese households

      Doesn't seem to have worked with my 13 year old daughter - she seemed to enjoy it in utero and in early childhood, but now won't touch it with a bargepole!
