I remember the discussion . It’s probably on the Composer of The Week Thread for him - the last three years or so,
Dont think there’s any evidence he was banned . He did experience broadcast neglect during the Glock years when English tonal composers like Finzi fell out of favour. Now the boot is on the other foot and there was no Schoenberg at Last Nights Prom. Pretty sure under Glock his anniversary would have been marked.
