Oh I don't know - Depends how much you like G&S - to me it's an improvement! I like Sullivan - not keen on Gilbert! I certainly prefer Dylan to G&S Highway 61 Revisited is a gem!

There are a number of C20th VCs that show off the violin in an unpleasant way.

...and there's a lot of Opera I'm not in a hurry to hear. Banal plots and in foreign tongues, and sung with nasty vibrato!
