Today's Music Matters discussed (inter alia) the children's opera, its composer Krasa (who died in Auschwitz in 1944), a surviving member of the Theresienstadt cast, and talks to kids rehearsing a forthcoming production.
There was a production here, many years ago, by in a local Reform Jewish Temple. I took my children and they hated it which unfortunately is my chief memory of the piece, but the history of the Composition was interesting
