    Full details of the London Philharmonic Orchestra's series of concerts at Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall in the 2015-16 season.

    Thanks for the heads up on that, Cals.

    Two excellent looking programmes in the space of 3 days in late November.....

    What a pity the Sibelius Violin Concerto doesn't get the occasional outing.....

      For the most part pretty standard repertoire, nothing there that would entice me down to London I'm afraid.

          The non-Jurowski concerts are hardly thrilling . The soloists largely those beloved by record magazines rather than me .

            It isn't easy juggling around with all the orchestra websites trying to decide which concerts to go to in a year to 18 months time and that's without taking the Proms into account!
            Limited time off due to work and limited finances don't help either.

            Better hope Radio 3 have their microphones at the ones I'd like to hear.
