      The main thing that sticks in my mind about Anna Magdalena Bach is the way the children of J.S.Bach neglected her after JSB's death. She died in penury.

        They did have 13 kids and no money - as depicted by the turned inside out empty pocket on his statue outside the Thomaskirche in Leipzig.
