Jessye Norman on HARDtalk (BBC News Channel)

    Worth a watch

Born in the segregated US south, has Jessye Norman's success helped to tear down barriers?

"They might write it, but - darling - I don't read it!"
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Thanks for that. Would never have noticed it.

So neither of you follow the "What are you listening to now" thread, eh?

[Actually, bearing in mind the wording of this thread's title, I think Caliban probably does. ]

No I hadn't seen your post there, in fact. (Curious to know what my thread title betrays about my following habits...! )

"Jessye Norman on HARDTalk (BBC News)" [from What are you listening to now? #15577]

"Jessye Norman on HARDtalk (BBC News Channel)" [Your thread title.]

It was the use of the BBC's Upper case for "HARD", though I now note you opted for a lower case "t".
