      Anyway, to return to the topic (sort of!), the prospect of a Strauss being associated with a Giovanni Battista when one thinks of the IS-like beheading that might befall the latter before the result thereof is served up on a silver platter is arguably somewhat worrying...

      Changing the subject (or at least its emphasis), I do recall years ago noting that Kaiserwalzer might well merit being renamed Führerwalzer on the grounds that the goose-step and the Viennese lilt are no so far removed from one another...
