You read it as I intended.

Likewise. Hyperion, not being in the same 'big boy' league as Decca/Universal, is somewhat less culpable, I feel.

So is it OK in your view for boardees to continue to blacken Decca?

          Yes, I got me coat...

12 hours' compulsory drill on the parade ground for that one, Private ahinton!

How far did the Goodman cycle get? I have had 1-20 in my collection for years and I thought that it had proceeded no further. It is possible that not all volumes were released on this side of the Pond.

Plenty more available from amazon.com, though they all seem to be shown as imports.

So which ones are actually missing from Goodman's set then? I also have some of these, though I'm probably unlikely unable to be able to buy up all the ones I haven't got unless there's a price drop. However, in the UK some of the volumes are not so expensive, so perhaps the remainder would cost not too much more than £100 after all - http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_...oodman%20Haydn

The prices do seem a bit variable - and to get them all at lowish prices some might have to be bought as "used". Some seem to be coming back from the USA!

I always had hopes that Hogwood would at some stage be able to complete the cycle in his more mature years, which would have married nicely with the remaining mature symphonies.
