A bit of both worlds for me. Facebook is great for sharing photos, videos, news, especially when family live far away. Twitter is more for the news/advertising I think. For a nice discussion the forum is probably the best place. :)

How do folks find the time for all these thingies AND listen to music.

This forum will do for me,it's just about the only place where I can talk about music.

Hearing music is the solution, obviously

I've been aware of Facebook for a long while now -perhaps more or less since it started. I have seen what others have done with it, and I'm very sceptical about putting up a lot of personal details on a 3rd party site, even if it is supposedly secure and private. Those who run Facebook have not shown themselves to be very competent and trustworthy, so I would be really wary about using it.

Of course the same considerations apply to any use of the Internet - sending email, putting up photos on photo sites, writing blogs, or even writing messages here. I would advise anyone thinking of putting up information on the Internet in any form to be vary careful about what they write or submit, and further to be careful about the general use of the Internet regarding visiting web sites, or searching for information. The Internet can be a very useful resource, and it has many uses for good, but it can also be misused, and I would advise everyone to treat it with caution.

In the very unlikely event of my being missed I am presently enjoying 98 degrees C at 5 PM in Savannah but I am suffering a shortage of good music. Thank Clapton for hotel Internet and Amazon music library.

Degrees C? Are you drinking hot tea?

Despite getting my C and F scales impossibly confused, yes, we are drinking hot tea because we're stupi… British.

38.67F? I'd say a cup of hot tea is just the job. Forget about chilled beer. (Anyway, apart from the ... warmth ... hope you're enjoying Savannah!)
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Yes, but what colour is it?
