I got to know Peter Sculthorpe's music through this excellent Naxos CD

His music has been played at The Proms three times since 1992 but only once (2002) in the twenty-first century.

Yes, a sad day. On a personal note - he was an open and very generous mentor to all his students (2 years in my case).
