I would have thought so, Padraig - but the only real way of knowing would be to hear a Quartet performance.

It's a shame the sound was faded out so rapidly after the music finished. They don't usually do this and often fade on the applause so I wonder if there was some problem that a quick fade covered - or maybe a different editor!

Just finished listening to St John Passion. Leaving aside any emotional response, it was a pleasure to view these performers interpreting this music and these words.
