Played by Ketil Haugsand and recorded at his house in Cologne 30 months ago, but released for the first time today. A new work for me - I can't remember ever having heard it before: I wanted it to continue onto the Allegro spiritoso next movement that I was "expecting".
I agree that we have been conditioned to expect a lively next movement, but my wish, ferney, if you'll forgive me, was to hear the Adagio again...on a Steinway!

Adagio in G, BWV 968
They've altered their Website - took me a couple of goes to get there, so I hope the link works:
Played by Ketil Haugsand and recorded at his house in Cologne 30 months ago, but released for the first time today. A new work for me - I can't remember ever having heard it before: I wanted it to continue onto the Allegro spiritoso next movement that I was "expecting".

A repeat from 2017, recorded in September 2016 by Matthias Havinga at the Muller organ of St Bavo's Church Haarlem.
Vigorous & jolly stuff - smashin'!
(I presume we did all the "Havinga lovely time, wish you were here" stuff last time round?)
