    The Essay: Secret Admirers

What looks like it could be an illuminating series of essays this week. Not sure the title quite fits the first in the run since the subject is the presenter's partner in the piano duo WWII. Good choice though, especially with Dave Smith's "Life and Works of John White", soon to be launched as the content of the 8th Journal of the London Institute of 'Pataphysics.

Another which I am much looking forward to is SMP on Hildegard of Bingen.

Spot on Bryn, this looks well worth seeking out. Bax and Arnold also for British Music Nuts.

I'm assuming this series is something like a 5 year project?

I really recommend This essay by Sarah Walker. Top stuff.

      Good radio.

The Arnold Essay by Martin Handley was interesting too.

It is back for another series with presenters including Alkers and Skellers, I would, hardly surprisingly, recommend both .....

Ah thanks anton! Skellers excellent. Gave EA a swerve though
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
          Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
