It's the old English/Jewish/East End spelling which his dad gave at the registry office in St Petersburg when he enrolled for the classes with Aeur. (He's Welsh by the way - it's short for Eneirin - and that's the old English/East End spelling for the Welsh dictionary (Bet you didn't know they had one). So old Jasha gnashed his teeth and set about playing the fiddle, and that was only because his old mum wouldn't let 'im do the johanna (pianer) because his sister was already banging around on it. (Ske played it as well). This is all historikal fact so don't you lot go around casting nisterchums on me spelling cause I never had time to go to school as I was skivvy to a conductor.

Seriously, though, Mr Heifetz was by all accounts a pianist of considerable talents and sometimes played piano at his master-classes during his last year when he was no longer performing as a violinist. Rumour has it that he could play the piano parts of all ten Beethoven sonatas for violin and piano from memory; rumours are just rumours, I know, but can you imagine what it might have felt like to have been a student playing the Kreutzer at a Heifetz master-class with Heifetz himself playing what's hardly a walk in the park of a piano part from memory?

I must say that the wit on here is excruciating - but also very, very funny. Keep it up as the actress said ...
