Does anyone remember when Beecham's outrageous "Halleluia Chorus" was issued as a single and entered the top ten?!

            Greetings Pop Pickers...

Here's my top 10... Most, in yesteryear, I encountered on TOTP ( I hope in hindsight that Peter Powell hosted them all ) Temple of The Dog I first heard one Sunday evening on Radio 1. It was more edgy than R2's Sing Something Simple...

The Coldplay I first heard in a bar in Beijing - and I confess to loving the album.

            In no particular order :-

            Laurie Anderson: O Superman
            Tubeway Army: Are friends electric?
Buggles: Video Killed The Radio Star
The Smiths: How soon is now?
            Blondie: Union City Blue
Echo and The Bunnymen : The Cutter
            Radiohead: Fake Plastic Trees
            Coldplay: Viva La Vida
Temple of the Dog : Hungerstrike
Red Box : Lean on Me

            Best Wishes,

"Fluff" Tevot ... (no doubt this list may change. Not 'arf )

I want to add Steeleye Span's 'All Around My Hat' And Thunderclap Newman's 'Something In The Air' (ta JC!). Not sure about the two that'll have to come off.
