    Surprised to find this:

Might be worth contacting the vendor about that.

Partch, Delusion and Fury, Musikfabrik, Wergo. Now streaming. Sounds cool.

They’ve made a video of this which I’d love to see, but maybe not enough to actually buy,

I see from the Decca Classics website that the Haitink/Concertgebouw box release date has been pushed back to December 31 2022 https://store.deccaclassics.com/*/Bo...gs/7IU616YX000 Amazon are still showing December 31 2023 but still showing TBC without any any image.

Meanwhile, the van Beinum/Concertgebouw set, which has already had its release date changed twice, is now stated to be out on December 9. https://store.deccaclassics.com/*/Bo...ps/7HGC16YX000

Looks like a few Forumites Christmas plans will have gone up in the air!

Why can't release dates be honoured, especially for the all important Christmas market?

Oh dear Pet. Originally scheduled for this Friday was it not?

Any ideas on an alternative box for Christmas?

How was the KCC Cleobury Argo set?

Presto have it listed for release on 16 December (although one would expect Decca’s website to be more accurate in this regard), and have reduced their price to £260, so only a few pounds more than Amazon now.

Thanks, LHC. I've twice had problems with 'pre-ordered' boxed sets from Amazon so think I'll go for the Presto offer. Even if the December 16 date is correct it's touch and go whether it will arrive in time for Christmas. I wonder if these continually changing release dates are another 'brexit benefit'?

The release dates on Decca’s site are Worldwide, not just for the UK, and it doesn’t appear to be available on European retailers’ s websites yet either, so I don’t think you can ascribe this to Brexit.

Given the size of the set I expect any delays are more likely due to shortages of pressing plant facilities and raw materials.

Latest update on the ongoing farce that is the Haitink/Concertgebouw box release date:

Decca Classics: now January 27 2023
                          Presto: December 16 2022
Amazon: (still tbc): December 1 2023

                          Laughable.

IMO Titelouze is the greatest French baroque composer of music for organ, and maybe for keyboard tout court.

You can hear the organ here. I can imagine these colours would sound good in Titelouze.

François Roberday (21 marzo 1624 a 13 octubre 1680) fue un francés barroco organista y compositor . Uno de los últimos exponentes de la tradición polifónica ...

The time has come for me to decide whether I care about this composer.

It would appear that DG consider the pianist to be rather more important than the composer, in this instance.
