Trawling through online clips, I am attracted to the 4 Regards on Paul Crossley's Messiaen sampler CD. A very clean and musical sound.

Not that has been released to the public. As to whether there are recordings of live performances out there, I know not but suspect there are. Back in 1970, there were audience members who always had a small tape recorder and discrete microphone with them. I used to work with one such, somehow getting away with using a Uher portable reel-to-reel machine.
