Pleased to underscore both the Mosaïques and the Kuijken Quartets, with which I've lived for some time (through separate issues and the Complete Kuijken "Haydn" 6). A little hard to source out on disc now.

I would also recommend (very highly) the Klenke Quartet intégrale, of which I've heard many via Qobuz; I guess HIPPs-moderne but very fresh, clear and expressive in fine sound. So sharp and alert. Beautifully balanced between warmth and precision.
A great set to live with if you enjoy a gamble, but best of course to sample it before plunging in...
Listen to unlimited or download Mozart: String Quartets by Klenke Quartett in Hi-Res quality on Qobuz. Subscription from £10.83/month.

(Should have liked a word with their stylist though (champagne would look best tailored, or at least uncrumpled)... perhaps showing them the Robert Palmer Addicted to Love video....with the frontman edited out of course. Can't beat the LBD sometimes.).

The other modern-instrument version I've enjoyed most are the Van Kuijk (whether barefoot or smartly shod) separate issues, as aforementioned by HD. Really lovely - and their 515/516 Quintets (musical icons for me, I can never hear them enough) are among my favourites of all.

Perhaps that’s why they look so cheesed off?
Del boy: “Get in, get out, don’t look back. That’s my motto!”

They don't even look convinced by their own poses, do they? Maybe its the photographer's (kasskara) fault.
Shame for such a large set. But its the Mozart that counts, and (as far as I've heard, again last night) it is wonderfully done.... do try it.
