I really have to admit to preferring the Tortelier/Boult recording on EMI to the du Pre with Barbirolli: obviously I've got Jacky's recording (I mean, who hasn't?) and the later issue with Danny Barenboim as well, but Tortelier is rather less heart on sleeve than du Pre, and a more satisfying listen in my opinion.
